Why Nearly 1/2 of Americans Avoid The Gym

"Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I'll meet you there." - Rumi

Am I doing the exercise right?

Am I lifting heavy enough?

Am I too sweaty during my workouts?

These are some of the thoughts that you'll never worry about at Functional Lifestyles.

Recent Studies report that a staggering 36% of men and nearly 65% of women deal with gym anxiety (which means they're too worried about being judged by others so they avoid the gym all together and miss out on their workouts).

1 in 2 Americans are too intimidated to workout at the gym.

31% admit to feeling anxiety at the thought of getting into shape.

37% think they're too unhealthy to even begin a program.

It's important to remember that judgment is often just another form of insecurity.

It an outlet for those who don't have a strong sense of self or feel a sense of lacking.

Don't lose sight of your goals and don't let others define what you do or don't do because of the fear of judgment.
